Many of the examples will give you a belly laugh. Chapter 3, A Time and a Place for Everything had me in stitches. I could see the events happening as described for up until now we didn’t know the proper etiquette in those sticky situations. The guideline for public bathrooms was a doozy, and travelers will appreciate the author’s fortitude for pinpointing the problems and offering solutions.
My favorites were the dos and don’ts of hostesses and guests and the pet etiquette. This guidebook is a fun read and a great gift for friends and family. This book should be on every person’s coffee table. I can imagine the lively discussions at your next social gathering based on the ideas from this book. Scoot over Emily Post, there is a subject on etiquette that you completely missed and without question, needs to be addressed.

Original, Funny & Helpful
I’ve always sort of rolled my eyes at bathroom books. The one that showed the different kinds of poop was a hallmark between my brother and me growing up. So, when I came across this one, I assumed it would be the same fluffy kind of joke book. This book took me greatly by surprise. It’s helpful! It’s filled with useful anecdotes, answers that no one feels comfortable asking, and even gives helpful tips for traveling and for hosting. This book will be a great gift—even something to keep around the house to reference. If you’re unsure, give it a try! I think you’ll find it’s wonderful too!
Hilarious and Helpful
The Ultimate Book of Bathroom Etiquette and Humor is such a gem. I was looking for a gift for my dad and brother and stumbled on this one. It appears that the author, Larry A. Glanz traveled widely in his career in the nutrition industry. His anecdotes, examples, and humor in this book come from those travels and had me laughing out loud. I enjoyed this book so much! I can’t wait to give this to my family to see their reaction to it. Thanks for such a fun book!

Great Tips and Even Better Humor!!
What makes this book so enjoyable is that it’s not only a fun (and instructional) book about and for the bathroom, but a copy is suitable not only for the bathroom, but for other rooms – and potential gatherings – as well.
Essentially, “The Ultimate Book of Bathroom Etiquette and Humor” works on a couple levels. The advice – though often delivered as parodies of nursery rhymes, Biblical Commandments and even from a fictitious philosopher named Confuse-us (who’s very hip) – is actually good, sound advice governing all realms of bathroom-related behavior. And it’s funny and entertaining, as well!
If you pick up this book – which I recommend – you may want to share the hilarious rhymes with friends, or take turns singing one of many bathroom song parodies. The songs certainly provide great material for cool, hilarious karaoke experiences. And, I think it will make a great gift for, well, anyone who uses a bathroom and has a sense of humor.
